Kalamkari is one of the most painstaking Indian traditional art forms that traces its roots to ancient times. The work is produced using vegetable dyes, block printing, and a pen; the printing is typically done on plain-woven, pure cotton cloth. Because they are entirely made by hand, each kalamkari garment is bewitching and unique.
At Shaams, we employ craftsmen who have venerated this art form for generations and have unmatched skill in rendering the same to give life to marvellous art forms. Each fabric undergoes upto 15 washes and carries the touch of finesse, elegance of tracing, an unmatched intricacy of design to give that feel and value beyond all realms of imagination.
