PIONEERS IN EMBROIDERY WORK

We started Shaams in the year 1997, setting up our first workshop in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. It was an exciting journey catering to the requirements of both the local populace and celebrities from Tollywood. We designed and executed attires for actors in several Telugu movies.

In the early 2000’s, with the demand for embroidered bridal attire peaking in the Chennai city, we shifted operations to our new workshop in Triplicane. We worked with several local retail vendors who had a variety of requirements ranging from extensive Kalamari work to intricate embroidery to be be done on their products. Some of our retail partners we worked with are RmKV, PSR Coimbatore, Mahaveers Coimbatore, Ambattur trading company, SM International, Caliber, Sri Krishna Collections to name a few.

In the early part of 2015, we established a separate business unit, that was to cater to the needs of international vendors. We have been since working with vendors from across the globe – Italy, Germany, United Kingdom, Japan and the U.S.

Our business was built by our great customers who constantly pushed us to test and develop our core competencies. We continually strive and adapt to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients and create new solutions in design and execution.

Artistic creativity has been at the heart of everything that we do. We have expressed this in the the work we have done through the years.
